Isaac Stern100 celebrates the legacy of Isaac in the year of his centenary, 2020. As a violinist, he marked the twentieth century by his musicianship and sensitivity, but he also became one of the leading defenders of culture as a tool for social understanding, and he convinced generations that music can effect change. At the heart of the centenary remembrance, the IS100 committee is encouraging musicians, cultural and educational institutions, patrons of the arts and lovers of excellence in music to remember what Isaac meant to them and how his achievements have had a profound impact on the cultural landscape of the world.
